Ultrasound gives us a more detailed non-invasive view of the chest and abdomen in order to investigate underlying medical problems.

Our machine is equipped with full colour doppler which allows the imaging of areas of blood flow within the internal organs and heart. This is particularly useful in investigation of potential cardiac disease.

For us to obtain these images we will need to clip some fur from the area being examined. Some pets may also require some sedation for the examination. We recommend at least a 12 hour fast prior to the procedure.
