At Ourimbah Veterinary Hospital our aim is to provide you and your pet with the highest quality in veterinary medicine and surgery

We are dedicated to caring for your pet from birth to old age and have a wide range of experience with both small and large animals.

The practice was established in 1982 as a one-vet operation. Since then it has grown and now has four full-time and one part-time vet and about 10 nursing, reception and support staff.

It moved into its present premises in 1992, a purpose-built small animal and horse hospital (the only one on the Central Coast). Facilities include an operating theatre, anaesthesia induction and recovery room, stable block and holding yards. Fully equipped with x-ray and ultrasound facilities, in-hospital diagnostic pathology laboratory and much more.

We service the whole of the Central Coast and provide regular visit service days to various areas locally, including Somersby, Mangrove Mountain, Kulnura, Peats Ridge, Calga and Mt White, Yarramalong, Dooralong, Jilliby, Warnervale, Wyee, Matcham, Holgate, Erina, Terrigal, Kincumber and surrrounding areas.

We are the only truly mixed general veterinary practice on the Central Coast. We look after all types of animals, large and small: dogs, cats, birds, wildlife of all kinds, horses, cattle, sheep, goats and alpacas.

Our vets and nursing staff attend regular refresher courses and conferences to continually improve their knowledge and skills.

We provide a full 24 hour emergency service for both small and large animals. This service is provided by our own veterinarians.
